Almond Butter Banana Smoothie
This almond butter banana smoothie is a satisfying snack or "mini-meal" that can be made in a matter of minutes - perfect if you're eating on the run! When your bananas get overly ripe, slice them up and put them in the freezer to have on hand to whip up this delicious drink. If you have an allergy to tree nuts, try sunflower seed butter instead!
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana, sliced
- 1 tablespoon natural almond butter (or other nut/seed butter)
- 1/2 cup skim milk or unsweetened dairy free alternative
Instructions
1) Add ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Yum! Makes 1 serving.
