Toni Westphal likes to help people do amazing things . . . especially giving birth. Toni enjoys providing empowering healthcare from puberty through menopause.
First job? I worked in the deli in the IGA grocery store in my small town, then through most of high school I worked in a nursing home as a CNA. It was such a great experience and taught me so much!
Free time? Sleep! I enjoy doing many things outdoors, plus carpentry and travel.
Best part of your work? Witnessing the amazing capabilities and strength of the human body, and connecting with amazing humans.
Best advice you ever got? My three mantras are: Mother Teresa’s poem “Do it anyway.” ‘Live to love and love to live.’ And ‘Always do the right thing for the right reason. No exceptions.’
Why healthcare? To help humans be amazing. :)
If not healthcare, what would you be doing? Architecture. I am in awe of the architecture I see in older countries. The intricacies fascinate me. In our modern day, so many of those detailed touches are not invested in anymore.
