I find joy and purpose in walking alongside patients as they are recovering from an illness or injury. I think it is crucial to learn about my patients to help achieve their goals. I like to know what they like to do with their time, what is important to them, and what motivates them. This way we can create a meaningful set of goals, and an individualized therapy plan that will get patients back to their activities, families and life.
