Receptionist #267 (CSMR-Northfield)
To serve as entry point for all individuals who contact CSMR. Primary functions include: telephone service, registering clients, scheduling clients, providing patient care personnel with complete and accurate information, compiling and discharging patient charts, verifying insurance information, and submitting accurate and complete billing data to the hospital billing office. This position provides age-specific and developmentally appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Also, performs a variety of receptionist and clerical duties associated with patient care unit operation under the supervision of the professional nurse. Communicates with all disciplines to coordinate the activities of the unit. · Must be registered Nursing Assistant · Current BLS · Good interpersonal communication skills · Computer Skills and knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
