The Director of Emergency Department/Trauma Program Coordinator/Outpatient Clinic is responsible for providing services to promote optimum patient outcomes in Emergency/Trauma and Outpatient care. This position oversees nursing and support staff performance as well as the provision of technology and supplies to create a safe and effective environment of care. This position provides direct patient care for Emergency Department and Trauma patients. · Current RN licensure in Minnesota · Current TNCC, ACLS, BLS, PALS required· 5 years of current ED experience required· Prefer management experience to include personnel functions, budgeting, & staff supervision

Performs various cleaning tasks in order to provide a clean, safe, and infection free environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors. This position does not provide direct patient care. · Previous hospital cleaning experience preferred

Provides direct professional nursing care to emergent/urgent/non-urgent care patients by utilizing nursing knowledge and critical thinking skills. Performs technical nursing functions, utilizes the nursing process to assess patient status, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care. Ensures a therapeutic and safe environment for patients and families within the guidelines and policies of the department and the philosophy of the organization. This position provides age-specific and developmentally appropriate care for neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. · Current RN licensure in Minnesota· TNCC, ACLS, BLS, CPR required· At least two years experience in Emergency Department setting

Instructs childbirth education classes to adolescent, adults and children. Prepares for classes and keeps resource materials up to date. Serves as the link between First Touch Birth Center, the Northfield community and the families they serve. · Certification as a Doula or Childbirth Educator required· Able to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
